Nýtt skólaár nálgast

Nú styttist óðum í að nýtt skólaár hefjist og við í Mýrarhúsaskóla hlökkum mikið til að fylla skólann aftur af lífi og fjöri.

Við vonum að nemendur og fjölskyldur þeirra hafi átt gott sumar og komi endurnærð til leiks.

Sérstaklega bjóðum við nýja nemendur og fjölskyldur þeirra hjartanlega velkomin í Mýrarhúsaskóla.

Við leggjum okkur fram um að upphaf skólaársins verði gott og að allir nemendur upplifi öryggi, tilheyri hópnum og finni að þeirra styrkleikar fái að njóta sín. Einkunnarorð skólans, virðing, ábyrgð og vellíðan, verða sem fyrr leiðarljós okkar í starfinu.

Upphaf skólaársins er mánudaginn 24. ágúst. Skólastarfið hefst með nemenda- og foreldrasamtölum. Þar gefst nemendum og foreldrum tækifæri til að hitta umsjónarkennara, fara yfir það sem fram undan er og leggja góðan grunn að samstarfi heimilis og skóla strax í upphafi skólaárs.

Opnað verður fyrir viðtalsbókanir á morgun 19. ágúst.

The start of a new school year is quickly approaching, and we at Mýrarhúsaskóli are very much looking forward to seeing the school filled with life and activity once again.

We hope that our students and their families have had a wonderful summer and will return refreshed and ready for the new school year.

We would especially like to extend a warm welcome to all new students and their families joining Mýrarhúsaskóli.

We are committed to ensuring a positive start to the school year, where every student feels safe, feels a sense of belonging, and has the opportunity to let their strengths shine. Our school values, respect, responsibility and well-being, will, as always, guide us in everything we do.

The new school year begins on Monday, 24 August. We will start the school year with student-parent-teacher meetings. These meetings give students and parents an opportunity to meet with the class teacher, discuss the year ahead, and establish a strong foundation for positive cooperation between home and school from the very beginning of the school year.

Booking for these meetings will open tomorrow, 19 August.
